Open Enrollment begins October 15, 2018 and ends November 2, 2018. During this period we encourage you to review your current benefit elections and make appropriate changes to best fit the needs of you and your family next year. Remember, this is your annual chance to make changes or adjustments to your medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, flexible spending accounts and legal plan benefits without having a qualified life event. Two new providers join our benefit menu in 2019:
Delta Dental replaces the United Concordia Dental plan. You now have a choice between 2 plans, Delta Dental PPO and DeltaCare HMO.
EyeMed replaces the VSP Vision plan.
During this open enrollment period, there is also a ONE-TIME OPPORTUNITY to enroll in Group Life Insurance up to guaranteed issue amounts without providing Evidence of lnsurability, even if you were denied coverage in the past. (See specifics in your 2019 Open Enrollment Guide.)
Benefit elections on record at the end of the Open Enrollment Period will become effective January 1, 2019.
VERY IMPORTANT! If you want to participate in the Flexible Spending Account (Healthcare and/or Dependent Care), you must reenroll in the plan(s). Current elections will not roll over to next year.
