Banquet Room Rental Information

Whether you're looking for a facility to hold a sales meeting for your associates, a cocktail reception to thank your donors or the celebration of an anniversary, The Show Place Arena can accommodate your event in comfort. Three banquet rooms can be rented for meetings, trainings or receptions with variable setups to suit your event.

Banquet rooms may be rented separately or with the Arena. The rooms can be booked during the week at any time; however, banquet room rentals during weekends will only be booked 60 days in advance.

The Winner's Circle Lounge is a 1420 square foot glass enclosed round room with a built-in bar.

The Paddock Room is a 2270 square foot room overlooking the Arena floor; the Paddock Room adjoins the Tack Room.

The Tack Room is a 2560 square foot room overlooking the Arena floor.

Catering Services

Catering and bar services are available upon request. Pricing for catering is based on a minimum of 25 guests, unless noted, and does not include 6% sales tax nor the 15% service fees. All alcohol sales are controlled by The Show Place Arena staff. All bar pricing is determined by the Food and Beverage Department. All bar services end 1/2 hour prior to the event end time. Frequently Asked Questions

Is outside catering allowed?

Yes, outside catering is allowed from a licensed caterer or storefront. A certificate of liability insurance with M-NCPPC as the additional insured must be presented from the caterer, and buyout fees will be applied to the rental agreement.  Please contact the Food and Beverage Department at 301-952-7900 for more information on buyout fees.

What is included in the room rental price?

Tables, chairs, two-hours for set-up and one-hour for breakdown are included in the room rental price.

Is musical entertainment permitted in the banquet room?

Yes, entertainment is permitted.  M-NCPPC Park Police must provide a Security Assessment of scheduled entertainers 30 days prior to an event. If an officer is required, they will be scheduled 1/2 hour prior to the event start time and additional fees will be charged.
