JULY EVENTS COMING TO THE SHOW PLACE ARENA

The Show Place Arena at 14900 Pennsylvania Avenue, Upper Marlboro, Maryland has a variety of exciting events taking place in the month of June 2007.

Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8, see youth, senior and open division barrel races in the indoor arena starting at 8:00 am.  Call for admission information.

Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15, starting at 7 am, see equestrians compete in the Maryland Saddle Association Horse Show, held in the outdoor arenas.  Admission for spectators is free.

Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15 – Horse enthusiasts will want to register in advance for the two day clinic.  This clinic will teach the gentle methods handling horses with well-known horse handler and trainer, Chris Cox.  Call for admission information.

Friday, July 20- Sunday July 22 the Southern Maryland Quarter Horse Association members will compete in the outdoor rings starting at 8 am.   Admission is free for spectators.

Saturday, July 21 from 8–11 pm, hear jazz at the Expressions of Jazz musical event. Admission payable through TicketMaster.

Saturday, July 21 and Sunday, July 22, the Silverado Arms and Militaria show comes to The Show Place Arena.  Collectibles and antique arms are available at this show and sale.  Admission at the door on the day of the event.

Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29, starting at 8 am, see all ages of equestrians compete in the Southern Maryland Horse Show Association Horse Show, held in the outdoor arenas.  Admission for spectators is free.

Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29 from 9:30 - 4 pm find everything you need for your computer at the MarketPro Computer Show.  Hardware, software, supplies!
Admission payable at the door.
